What is Avalanche?

Avalanche is a content native ad product available only to a finite set of premium publishers, exclusively through their sales organizations.  It integrates with the publisher’s CMS to seamlessly render brand communications to the target consumer.  Avalanche is purpose-built for the touch web but runs in the browser on all devices, eliminating costly creative production efforts in multiple formats.  Avalanche consistently delivers strong consumer engagement that can materially enhance any brand advertising investment.

What Information We Collect

Log data is certain information that is automatically collected by our systems when you load Avalanche on a Partners' site, including the type of software used to access the site (browser, operating system), the address of the page Avalanche was requested from, and your IP address. This information is encrypted as an md5 Hash and stored securely in a publicly inaccessible location.

Navigation Events

As you interact with Avalanche, mouse and touch navigation events are automatically recorded.

Social Media Features

Avalanche includes Social Media Features,including Facebook "Like" button, Facebook "Share" button, Twitter "Follow" button, Twitter "Re-Tweet" button, Instagram "Heart" button, Soundcloud "Favorite" button. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Partners' sites, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features are either hosted by a third-party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

How We Use Collected Information

Anonymous, aggregated information that cannot be linked back to an individual user is used for the purpose of optimizing the content rendered in Avalanche and is made available to third-parties for the purpose of validating user engagement with our software
